Phil Migicovsky
Mr. Migicovsky is the CEO of Cape Coral Capital, an investment and consulting firm. In 2002, he co-founded TaxEase, a finance company that invested in tax liens in Texas and eight other states. He and his partner built TaxEase into a $200 million enterprise before selling the firm to a private equity investor in 2012.
Prior to co-founding TaxEase, Mr. Migicovsky was a partner in The Hampstead Group, a real estate private equity firm, where he led or participated in $1 billion of real estate and business transactions. He also served as a consultant at Arthur Young & Co and as President of real estate investment firm Berry R. Cox Company.
Mr. Migicovsky is well-suited to advise growing businesses and their investors. At The Hampstead Group, he oversaw investments and fully developed his investor perspective. As a co-founder & CEO of TaxEase, he developed his operator skills and understands the challenges founders face. Since selling TaxEase, he has worked with companies as an active investor, helping develop strategies, sharpen operations, and raise capital.
Mr. Migicovsky earned a B. Commerce, great distinction, from McGill University in 1976, and his MBA, Baker scholar (top 5%), from Harvard Business School in 1979. Mr. Migicovsky has served on a variety of nonprofit boards and as President of the HBS Club of Dallas.
Beth Huddleston
Ms. Huddleston is an operator and consultant to early-stage companies. Ms. Huddleston joined Uber as General Manager in 2016. There, she drove the P&L for a $650M business in Texas and Missouri. During her tenure, she grew the market by 250% through consumer and driver marketing; improved operations; strategic partnerships; and regulatory efforts. She has deep operational and marketing experience; and a track record of driving growth.
Prior to Uber, Ms. Huddleston honed her strategic and advisory skills at McKinsey & Company. There, she led teams to develop fact-based solutions to her clients’ toughest strategic and operational problems. During her time at McKinsey, Ms. Huddleston developed a deep knowledge of operations, sales, marketing, travel and logistics.
Ms. Huddleston earned a B.B.A. with High Distinction in Finance and Venture Management from Emory University in 2007 and her MBA from Harvard Business School in 2012. Ms. Huddleston has served as an advisor to several nonprofits
